The same questions come back from one site to the next. Here are the four we hear most often from the businesses we work with.
A breakdown gets searched on a phone
Your customer has a problem right now. They search on their phone, look at three results and call the first one showing their area and a phone number. If your number takes two taps to appear, they are already with someone else.
Your area is not your city
You work across several municipalities, but your site names none of them. Someone searching for your trade from their own municipality never sees you, even though you drive past their street every week.
Your customers do not all speak the same language
In Belgium, some of your customers search in Dutch and others in French. A site in one language only leaves part of the enquiries to your competitors, and your statistics will never show it.
Twenty years of craft, invisible online
Your customers recommend you and your work speaks for itself. But whoever finds you on Google sees neither your projects, nor your qualifications, nor your experience. They see a page.
Every business below has a website we built. The case study explains what was blocking at the start and what changed. Several of them publish a page about the project on their own site: they are gathered in the client references.
Lorenzo Chauffage
Heating and plumbing. Services and areas separated, phone number within thumb reach, Google listing rebuilt.
VisibilityWillems Serrurier
Locksmithing and emergency call-outs. The site is organised by service and by area covered.
VisibilityJanssens Serrurier
Locksmithing. A multilingual structure, municipality by municipality and service by service.
WebsiteKlyne
Roof cleaning. Prices, services and coverage are readable from the first screen.
WebsiteVinteler
A family construction business. One address presenting every trade under one roof.
WebsiteTerra Kitchen
Bespoke kitchens in Anderlecht. The private showroom and the finished work carry the enquiry.
AutomationMakette
A 3D kitchen configurator. The customer composes their project and prepares a budget before calling.
Three areas of work, in the order that pays off most often. The first is enough in many cases.
A site that makes the phone ring
The number stays within thumb reach on the whole page, the services are separated from one another, the areas are named and the finished work is shown. A visitor understands in seconds whether they are in the right place. This work is described on the Websites page.
Being found in your own municipality
Pages per service and per area, a Google Business listing kept seriously, reviews organised, and the same information made readable by AI assistants. No position is guaranteed; what gets measured is the movement from one month to the next. See Visibility and the SEO and GEO in Belgium guide.
Less time spent on enquiries
A short form, a WhatsApp button, quotes prepared from information already captured, and follow-up on open requests. We only build a tool when it saves time. See Automation and bespoke tools.
How much does a website cost for a heating or locksmithing business?
It depends on the number of services, the number of areas and the languages. The quote states the scope, what is delivered and what is followed up. Budget lines and recurring costs are detailed on the Website prices in Belgium page.
Do I really need a page per municipality?
Only where you genuinely work and where you have something different to say. A page per municipality with no content of its own serves no one and ends up competing with the others. At Janssens, splitting by municipality and by service works because the call-outs and the languages genuinely differ.
Does my site need a Dutch version?
If you work in Brussels or its outskirts, some of your customers search in Dutch. The real question is not translation, it is whether you can answer in that language on the phone. If you can, the Dutch version earns its place. If you cannot, it attracts enquiries you will not be able to handle.
How long before I appear on Google?
A new site is usually crawled within a few days. Ranking on competitive searches takes months, and it depends on your area, the number of competitors and your Google listing. We promise neither a deadline nor a position: we show you each month what is rising and what is flat.
I have no photos of my work. Is that a blocker?
No, but it is the first thing to fix. Real photos of your call-outs are worth more than any amount of text when it comes to convincing someone to call you. A recent phone is enough; we tell you what to photograph and how.
