A local structure by municipality, service family and language.

Official logo: Janssens Serrurier Janssens Serrurier

The Janssens Serrurier project organises local pages by municipality, service family and language. The structure adapts useful information to the intent being viewed without presenting publication as a ranking guarantee.

Problem addressed for Janssens Serrurier: the situation before the digital solution.

The problem

A local emergency remained invisible

A person was looking for a locksmith with the name of their municipality and their language, not with a general formula for all of Belgium.

Directories took up all the space

Without a precise answer for each zone, the site disappeared behind intermediaries who did not carry out the intervention themselves.

Solution built for Janssens Serrurier: the new digital workflow in use.

The solution

One page answers each search

Municipalities, services and languages have separate content with really useful local information.

The visitor contacts the locksmith directly

The correct page displays the appropriate number and form, without requiring the customer to go through a directory again.

01

Local structure

Planning templates by local area, five service families and three languages. These dimensions organise navigation; they do not promise visibility.

02

Unique content generation

Creating templates that use the municipality name, postcode, neighbouring municipalities and available local information. Editorial checks remain necessary to find repetition and data that needs correction.

03

The site in three languages

Site structure in 3 languages (FR, NL, DE) with correct hreflang, intuitive navigation and content adapted to each linguistic community. Hreflang tags link each page to its equivalents in other languages.

A resident of Brussels sees the French version, while the same content is available in Dutch for a visitor from Dutch-speaking Ixelles.
