Website pricing in Wallonia

How much does a website cost in Wallonia?

The published price does not change from one region to the next: 2 500 € setup, then 100 € per month. What changes is the support you can actually use and the number of languages to produce. Here is how that plays out.

What the official sources say

The Walloon portal lists two open digital vouchers: “Maturité numérique” at 50 % coverage and “Cybersécurité” at 75 %, both capped at 50 000 € excl. VAT over three years.

These vouchers cover advice, audits and coaching. The portal never lists building or rebuilding a website among eligible services. So we do not count on them in a quote, and you should be wary of anyone who does.

Wallonia falls within the French language region, apart from the nine municipalities of the German language region.

A single version of the content to write. That is the cheapest of the three regions, and the published baseline is exactly that case.

What Wallonia changes

  • A single language, so one set of content to write and maintain.
  • Two digital vouchers exist, but for advice, not for building your site.
  • Local pages target Walloon municipalities, which changes editorial work, not the baseline.

What it does not change

The technical baseline, hosting and maintenance. A Walloon site is neither simpler nor more expensive to build than any other, and nobody should charge you a geographic premium.
